School and Sick

Delaney had dress like a character day at school last week and she went as Pinkalicious. She looked adorable and was so excited about her costume.

Carter was sick on Friday afternoon and ended up topping out with a temp of 104.6 I believe. When she was acting so lethargic that she wasn't really even moving the nurse made us an appointment at the Children's after hours clinic Friday night. After some Tylenol she was running around the waiting room playing. She felt pretty bad all weekend, and I stayed home with her Monday. Hopefully we are all well for Christmas!

Here is Caterbug on our sick day home from school. I love a baby in a big t-shirt! This sweet girl seemed to be much better today and went back to school.

We have been having a busy few weeks gearing up for Christmas break. The girls and I went to the 6th grade winter dance at my school; they danced the night away and had a blast! Our elf, Sparkle, has been busy flying back and forth from the North Pole. We also went to Zoolight Safari at the zoo, and it was great. The girls both loved it and it wasn't cold the night we went. D also had her school Christmas party and was so excited about it! Here are some randoms from the last couple of weeks.

Santa and Sparkle

We took the girls to Brookwood Mall to see Santa right before Thanksgiving. We had hardly any line and the girls both loved Santa this year! Carter was amused by him and did great sitting with him for a picture.

Sparkle and Polka Dot, our elves, also returned the day after Thanksgiving. Delaney loves the elves and it's just something fun that she enjoys. Our elf doesn't do much besides move around, but he did deliver pajamas to keep the girls warm when he flew back from the North Pole this year. Delaney was so amazed and said "this is so cool!" Carter didn't really know what was going on and she doesn't pay too much attention to the elf yet. We are excited for the all the fun things coming up with Christmas and celebrating the birth of Jesus!

Thanksgiving 2014

Thanksgiving 2014 is in the books, and it was great! We went to Traci's house and had a blast. The girls always have so much fun there and it wore them out! We had a great day eating good food, spending time with family, and letting the kids play. Once we got home that night mom and I headed out for black Friday shopping! We go every year and it's just fun to spend time with my mom shopping and people watching! Here are some pics from our Thanksgiving.
