General Update

OK so I have been such a blog slacker lately! I am going to catch up and then I'm going to make sure I start keeping up. We have been keeping very busy and having a ton of fun! We have been playing at the library, going to Alabama Adventure, the zoo, spending time with family, going to our mommy and me playgroup at church and hanging out with David who is out for the summer! We started back our mommy and me playgroup at church last week and love it! We are so blessed to have such an amazing church to go to, Church of the Highlands, and we just love it! We had Elizabeth and her daughter Finley join us this morning and it was so fun (thanks for going girls we had so much fun!). I have know who Elizabeth was for awhile through people we both knew but she lived out of town and once she started a blog we started keeping up with them. Her daughter and Delaney are really close in age and had never had a chance to meet to we were so glad they came with us. They are actually moving back out of town but are here for awhile so we plan to see them more for sure! We go to the zoo with our friend Melissa and her little boy Nick a lot and always have a blast. My mom got us season passes to Alabama Adventure for Delaney's Easter present and we have already gotten our money out of them. Mom and I have taken her a lot and David and I have been together too so everyone is having fun! They have a great area for toddlers and Delaney LOVES it! We recently went to visit David's sister Staci in Georgia for her boys birthdays and we had so much fun hanging out with them. I think they are coming to Birmingham very soon so we can't wait to hang out with them more. We went to visit my Dad earlier this week and Delaney just loves her Papa! They are getting their newest addition this weekend (a Great Dane puppy) and we can't wait to meet him!

Delaney turned 19 months old on Monday as well. She has recently started telling me she has to go pee pee! She has done this for awhile when you change her diaper but the other day she came up to me in the living room with her diaper on and kept saying pee pee! I was a little shocked so I kept feeling to see if her diaper was warm like she had gone and sure enough a minute later I'm pretty sure she went! The same thing happened again at bath time so I sat her on the big potty since her diaper was already off and that totally freaked her out! We are not going to start potty training now but I don't think it will be to long! She starts school in the fall and the class she will be in starts wearing pull ups so I think that's probably when we will really start. She is growing up way to fast!
