We took the girls to Auburn this weekend to hang out with my family before the game. It was Carterbug's first trip, and she loved it! D had been a couple of times before but never when she was old enough to remember. We just stayed for the day and drove back that afternoon before the game started. It was a night game so we knew the girls wouldn't make it for the actual game. We were home before the game even started and it was the perfect day!

We had a long weekend this past weekend and it was great! We went to the zoo on our extra day off with our cousins. Carter was in school so it was just a trip for the big girls. We also had our cousin's birthday party on Sunday night. It was a fun filled weekend and we look forward to many more this fall! Here are some pictures from our recent outings!

Delaney lost her first tooth this past week! Her tooth has been loose for a couple of weeks now, but I wasn't sure how long it would take to fall out. She was being silly one day playing with friends, and I think she accidentally pushed hard on it with her other teeth. She started crying saying her tooth hurt and sure enough it was sticking straight out! I calmed her down and told her the hurt part was over. I knew whenever it fell out that the worst was over since it was all the way flat! I gave her a wipe and told her just to keep messing with it. Before we even got out of the neighborhood she had pulled her tooth out! She was so proud of herself and so was I! Here is my toothless baby right before and after she lost her first tooth!

Carter had tube/adenoid surgery last week on October 2. She did SO great and didn't have any problems after. It has only been about a week, but it already seems to be helping her. The doctor said that her nose was a mess and that her adenoids were SO infected. That was reassuring that we made the right decision to have them out. She didn't cry at all and was just the sweetest thing when she came back after surgery. She slept most of the day when we got home and then went to bed like normal that night. When she woke up the next day she seemed to be back to her normal self. We are praying that this helps our sweet girl as much as it did her big sister and that we stay well this winter!!
Here she is playing with daddy before surgery.
This was the Saturday after she had surgery (2 days)
