Easter 2016 and Spring Break!

We had such a great Easter celebrating our risen Savior!! We went to church on Saturday night and are so grateful for such an amazing place to worship. Jesus is alive and we are so thankful for the sacrifice he made for us!! 

We ate at Cracker Barrel after the service and the girls had to get a picture in this rocking chair. Easter came quick this year, and we had not dyed eggs yet  so we did that when we got home from church. Easter was rainy and ugly but we were so excited to spend it having a great lunch with family. The girls are always so excited to have any family over to the house!! We had to move our egg hunt inside, which was fine with the girls, and they had a blast! 

Spring Break started Easter weekend. Our school always has a 5k the last day before Spring Break to raise money for different causes. At the end the P.E. coaches get pied by any homerooms that have 100% participation. Carter was out of school that day, and my mom checked D out in the afternoon and brought them to watch some of the festivities. Carter even got to pie her daddy! They thought it was so funny and had a blast. 

We had some great weather over Spring Break and got lots of outdoor projects out of the way. The girls enjoyed sleeping in, playing outside, and having lots of family time!! We went to the zoo one day and took the girls to the movies. We had such a great Spring Break and can't wait until summer when we have extended time to do some family things!!!
