Christmas 2015!

We had such an amazing Christmas this year! I really felt like we slowed down this year and took everything in as much as possible. The girls were both at such a fun age and getting to experience the season through their eyes is always so fun! We started a new tradition of making and decorating sugar cookies. The girls LOVED this and were so excited. We also did all the typical Christmas things we do like looking at lights, having Christmas movie nights, and just enjoyed being with our family. We had some fun family gatherings and got to see all of our grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins!

We also want to make sure that the girls always know the true meaning of the season. We are so blessed to be able to celebrate the birth of our Savior JESUS!! On Christmas morning the girls sing "Happy Birthday" to Jesus, and it's always one of Delaney's favorite things to do! We went to our church for our candlelight service and let Delaney stay in big church with us. She loves lighting the candle at the end of the service each year!

Santa also stopped by our house for a visit. The girls were both very good this year and got some great gifts! I caught Santa leaving their goods and snapped a quick pic. I showed D the next morning and she was so excited to see him in action! We had such a blessed Christmas and are so thankful for the birth of Jesus!!
