Beach 2011

We just got back from an awesome trip to Destin with David's sister Traci and her two boys, Hunter and Bradley. We were so excited that they invited us down and were glad to get away for a few days. Delaney had not been to the beach since she was about 8 months old so I was eager to see what she would think about it. We left after my 5:00pm class on Thursday night so we didn't get there until about 11:00pm. Delaney stayed awake almost the entire trip watching her Mickey Mouse DVD, and finally fell asleep when we were about 15min from the condo. She was a little confused about why it was taking so long to get there and kept saying she wanted to go to the beach. I promised her first thing in the morning we would walk over and see it.

We woke up early the next morning and she was talking about seeing the beach immediately. Once we got to the beach for the day Delaney wasn't to sure what she thought about the sand, but once she started playing she was fine. The next day she did not like it as much and was not excited about being dirty. We hung out at the pool a lot while we were there and she loves to swim! Delaney had so much fun hanging out with her Aunt Traci and her cousins. They were so patient with her and played with her a ton while we were at the beach with them. We had so much fun and can't wait to go back in a couple of weeks with Gigi! Here are some pictures from the trip.
