Busy Week

Well I have been such a slacker on blogging the past week and we have had a lot going on! David got back from Washington last Thursday and he had so much fun. We missed him while he was gone but we got a lot of things done and had fun while my mom was staying with us. My dad came and put up Delaney's swing outside as I said in an earlier post and she is loving it so of course I got some pictures of her in it. We have been reading to Delaney more and she LOVES it! She sits so content and listens and helps flip the pages. I told you about the test we had already had done to test everything under the sun and make sure everything was normal since Delaney was so tiny. All those came back fine and we went to have a weight check last week and she had gained 14oz in two weeks! That solid food must have helped out! We also got her shots while we were there and she did great. She did have a fever from them the next day for the first time but we gave her Tylenol all day pretty much and she was fine by bedtime. We still had one test we to had to run on Delaney they call the "failure to thrive" test.. well it is really a test for Cystic Fibrosis and we finally had it done yesterday. We got the results back today and everything was normal... God is so good! We are so glad to have all the test done and know that NOTHING is wrong with her! I got a picture of how they did the CF test because it looked so pitiful! It didn't hurt her in any way the wraps were just there to make her arm hot so she would sweat. We do have to go back in two weeks to do a weight check again and I'm hoping after that one they will only make us come back once a month or so to check her weight if its good next time. Anyway we are going to the beach with David's sister Traci and her family next week and are so excited! I'm sure I'll have lots of pictures when we get back!
